The role
This is your chance to come and join our bold, creative and successful Parks and Leisure Team. We want you to bring your experience and track record of achievement and be part of Southwark’s commitment to improve the health and wellbeing or all its residents.

You will bring experience across one or more of these areas, have a strong track record of achievement, be a collaborative team player and keen to play your part to shape and deliver the future of these services:

• Experience of dealing sensitively and efficiently with queries, service requests or complaints from the bereaved, funeral directors, clergy, stonemasons, contractors, internal/external staff and the public.
• Experience of providing administrative and business support in busy public facing sensitive environment, including providing reception duties, greeting member of public, record keeping, ability to arrange meeting and take minutes.
• Knowledge of keep financial records, preparing reports, paying invoices, ordering stationary, material, equipment and other supplier.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage the relatives of the bereaved.

16 hours a week – work pattern depends on the service requirement


Salary range: £25,947 - £31,764 p.a. pro rata
