Part Time Business and
Administrator Tutor Required
(2 days a week to cover Maternity Leave October - July)
Start: October 2018
Hours: Wednesday and Friday 9am – 5pm
Salary: Negotiable (according to qualifications and experience)
The Bosco College works with young people aged 16+ to train them for employment. We need a
caring individual who will work together with the young people to improve their Business and
Administration skills in order for them to be able to compete in the world of work. The work is
challenging, but very rewarding.
You must hold a recognised qualification in teaching e.g.CEAT, DEAT, PGCE or Cert Ed. This is not
an ESOL position, so candidates only holding ESOL qualifications should not apply. You should also
have a subject specific qualification in Business and Administration at Level 3 or relevant experience.
You will be teaching Business Administration at Level 1, within a study programme, and also the
Certificate and Diploma at Level 2 and 3. The awarding body is City and Guilds.
You will be expected to be creative in using resources that are interesting, relevant and appropriate
to the needs of the young people in the learning situation.
Candidate will need to be empathic towards the needs of these young people and be able to
communicate with them effectively.
The Bosco Centre is committed to the safeguarding of
young people, and as such, you will be required to complete an enhanced CRB check.
