The role

With a coverage of over 20,000 assets we are looking for skilled electricians to join our experienced and established lighting and electrical team working directly as part of our Direct Labour Organisation for Southwark Council. The role will see you working on a mixture of public realm lighting and electrical assets, including street lighting and power, three phase installations and Electrical Vehicle charging points.

Asset Management Services provide key front line services within the public realm and beyond and as part of the Traded Service division, will be looking to expand our services to cater for a bigger audience in the future. Working in an exciting and technical business unit, you would be responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical and lighting related infrastructure.
The role will require you to undertake works in accordance with BS 7671 inclusive of inspection, testing and certification, whilst maintaining the Business Unit registration for the NICEIC.

You will come to us with a good understanding of the requirements of electrical installation and maintenance works. You will have good communication and have a proactive approach to resolving practical issues. You will work effectively and to deadlines to deliver quality outcomes and provide excellent customer service.

Additional salary details
Salary range £23,361 - £28,206 plus productivity related bonus scheme
