Hours: Mon-Fri 8.45 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. - 28.75 hours/week term time only
Scale: Hay Grade 4 - £14,047- £15,661
Start date: ASAP


We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant in our Key Stage Two team. Southwark Park is an inclusive primary school with a fantastic team spirit. We believe in being reflective practitioners who look carefully and collectively at how things could be done better.

Main purpose of the job:

To work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience of working with children to support learning
• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and attainment
• Can implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom
• Will promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom
• Will encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others
• The ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
• Can use ICT effectively to support learning
