Family Early Help Service Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious qualified social work manager to play a leading role in the delivery of an ‘Outstanding’ Family Early Help service.
Our transformed Family Early Help Service was launched on 27 July, 2018 in a phased implementation to deliver on its ambition to provide early help through a whole family approach based on collaboration with families and with partners from schools, health, children’s services and the community. We have now reached our first 100 days landmark and have a vacancy for an exemplary leader to manage our Under 11s division of the service. This Service Manager will hold a pivotal and influential role with our primary school communities in leading our new sense of purpose and identity for Family Early Help.
We are looking for an energetic candidate, social work qualified who embraces systemic, restorative and attachment-informed practices and has a proven track record of leading a team where you have instilled and driven best practice in whole family work. A reflective practice leader who recognises that a workforce of differently qualified staff is their biggest asset, and who can confidently lead the development of a culture of learning and continuous development. You will be a highly competent social work manager with substantive experience in safeguarding practice who understands the challenges of early help in the community and who will utilise their social work expertise in holding and managing risk and vulnerability. You will be required to demonstrate your skillset and experience of partnership working and securing stakeholder participation and agreement which will enable you to engage with a range of services to help fulfil our Family Early Help ambition for children and families.

Salary range £49, 293 - £61,755 p.a. plus a cash benefit package to the value of £2,724 p.a. pro-rata (subject to annual review)
