Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust
In the NHS Staff Survey, for the 3rd year running,
our Trust has scored the highest for employee
Engagement; and overall our Transplant, Renal
and Urology (TRU) directorate scored highest for
both this category and for Line Management, and
TRU were also rated high for Quality Appraisal.
This reflects the supportive, staff focussed ethos
of our directorate that delivers excellence in
the treatment of kidney and urological disease.
With an established philosophy of interdisciplinary
working and a high level of nursing autonomy,
TRU is both exciting and innovative. We embrace
cutting edge healthcare advances, with our
robotic programme just one example. With the
UK’s largest, most active living kidney donation
programme, we provide dialysis on site and in our
satellite units and kidney treatment centres which
host a variety of outreach clinics. We also have a
strong tradition of patient and carer involvement.
April job focus: Band 5 nurses Renal and Urology at Guy’s.
We’re recruiting for our inpatient units and local dialysis unit,
where you can develop specialist nursing skills or rotate. You’ll
work closely with specialist and outpatient nursing teams, with
career development opportunities. We offer a comprehensive
induction, PDN input and Senior Nursing Team support, who
will care about you, your goals and your work-life balance. We
would also like to hear from experienced Transplant, Renal or
Urology nurses wishing to develop their leadership or specialist
skills and Nursing Support workers interested in joining us too.
