Qualified Teacher of Visual Impairment
This post offers an exciting and interesting opportunity for a committed and motivated teacher to work within an established team for children and young people with visual impairment.
You will work in schools and other settings to promote pupil progress and independence. The post involves providing appropriate teaching and learning opportunities to ensure the successful inclusion of pupils with visual impairments.
You will train teachers/teaching assistants and support them in providing an accessible curriculum.
Qualified Teacher Status and successful experience as a teacher is essential, but an experienced teacher willing to gain the Mandatory qualification within 3 years would be considered.
