Following the successful promotion of staff within our Older People and Physical Disabilities service, we are recruiting to a number of Senior Practitioner posts.
The Senior Practitioner role is key in supporting the day-to-day running of the team, as well as continually looking for ways to develop the service. Furthermore, the successful applicant will need to actively seek continuous professional development in both their own and their supervisees’ practice. Working alongside your peers, you will be responsible for managing incoming referrals; undertaking supervision with staff; ensuring the timely and proportionate allocation of work and supporting people with safeguarding needs.
We are looking for resilient practitioners who can manage competing demands and prioritise work effectively. The role requires applicants who are confident decision makers and who can stay calm under pressure.
You should hold a degree in social work, be registered with the HCPC, together with extensive post qualifying experience and knowledge of adult social care legislation and good practice.
Do you think you have what it takes to ensure that Southwark remains a great place to live and work? If so, we would like to hear from you!
